If you own a long-haired cavy that you would like to show, you should get or make a show board. All senior long-haired cavies are supposed to be shown on show boards. There are different 'styles' of boards, but all must meet the following requirements

   1) the length and width is 16", the height is 4"

2) must be covered in plain burlap

3) must have one handhold on each side
