Storybook's Trixie  American Beige/White - 3 legs

Storybook's Pixie - American REO/Beige/White - 2 legs

A total of five babies were born, all live and doing well. Two red/whites, three REO/Whites. All but one are showable. The red/white sow is not showable because she does not have enough white patching, but other than that thy are all very nice. Their heads will be a little long, but not bad. They have great ears and type and clear patching.

Storybook's Purty Girl - American REO/Beige/White - 6 legs

Two babies, both van sows. The REO/White sow's foot was turned a bit, but it's coming around nicely. The REO/Beige/White sow is just really nice. Her beige is too dark, but her type, ears, head, and eyes are excellent. They will both make very nice brood sows. You can see their pedigree above, as well as photos of their parents/grandparents.

Born February 12th, 2008

Storybook's Bruiser + Storybook's Lil Beauty

Four babies, three boars/one sow. Whereas the last litter had hardly anything showable, this litter has hardly any who aren't. NO coat faults (yay!) and the two babies in the middle are STAYING. They are absolutely gorgeous. Three REO/Beige/Whites, one REO/White. The nicest little boar's name is Storybook's Tough Love. The boars on the far left and far right will probably be available at weaning.

Born February 12th, 2008

Storybook's Bruiser + Storybook's Cassie

Four humongous babies, all sows, all have great type and heads. The REO/Whites are dutchy, and the REO/Beige/White is really nice but has a rosette smack in the middle of its back. At least three babies will be for sale once they are weaned.

Born February 4th, 2008

Storybook's O'Henry + Storybook's Vanessa

Three babies born, all big and healthy :) The two black/whites are sows, and the red/white is a boar. So far I am keeping the boar and the better marked sow, though the sow's behind is white and will be hard to keep clean. The other sow is very nice, just dutchy. No one is for sale yet though, until their coats come in a bit more ;)

Born November 8th, 2007

Sunflower's Prince Charmont + Rick's Miss Muffet

Five babies born, one DOA and one died on day three. Only one is not showable, and he is the only Coronet in the litter - he is very cute though, and will be a big boar with nice coat. He will be for sale once he's weaned. The other two black/white Silkies are very nice, the runt has worse markings, but still showable. The TSW Silkie is absolutely gorgeous - he does have intermingling, but his patching is still very nice. The TSW and the Black/White sow are staying, the other two will probably be available after weaning.

Born November 4th, 2007

Storybook's Bruiser + Storybook's Lil Beauty

Only two babies, but they are little chunkers! The boar has very good color but his markings aren't that great. The sow on the other hand, is amazing. Her beige is really dark and the patches on her bum would be better if the colors were switched, but she still has amazing markings and type.

Born October 17th, 2007

Storybook's Gr. Ch. Romeo + Storybook's Gr. Ch. Purty Girl

Three babies total, two boars and one sow. They are all gorgeous bubs, all showable with good type. The REO/Beige/White boar is the least showable, he has too much beige and too little white/REO to be well-marked, but he has excellent type. The sow is REO/Beige/White (mostly beige/white) and her type is AMAZING, she's got great blocky patches and very good type. The REO/White boar is the best though, he's absolutely stunning. His type isn't as nice as the other's, but his markings are great.

Born September 8th, 2007

Carat's Wyatt Earp + Storybook's Chatelaine

Three babies total, one DOA. The remaining two are tiny, but are doing well so far. The sow is reserved, and the boar is staying :) His name is Storybook's Widget, and his head and type are AMAZING (he is the baby without a blaze).

Born September 5th, 2007

Storybook's Romeo + Storybook's Pixie

Well, Pixie had five babies (one DOA), all the babies except one were showable and very nice. Unfortunately I lost Pixie and two of her babies days after birth :(

The remaining two have been fostered by another momma pig and are now doing quite well. Their names are Storybook's Bean Sprout (REO/Beige/White boar) and Storybook's Trixie (REO/Beige/White sow). They are both staying.

Born July 13th, 2007

Tigger's Desmond + Storybook's Vanessa

Two nice big baby boars were born to Storybook's Vanessa. Both are Golden Agouti/White like their daddy. One is a Coronet, one is a Silkie. Their heads are continuing to get better and better. Their sire's and dam's heads are both very nice, and both of these babies have nice patching (though I personally prefer the Coronet's). They are both very nice and are not for sale :) Their names so far are Denouement (Coronet) and Digory (Silkie).

Born May 9th, 2007

Tigger's Desmond + Storybook's Cleopatra

There were a total of three boars in this litter, but the last two were DOA. The remaining one is a black/white boar. His patching is ok, but his color is pretty bad. Fortunately for his breed, color is 2 1/2 points out of 100 :P When his coat grows out the white will balance out a little more because of where it's placed. I'm going to show him a bit, but he will most likely be available if someone is seriously interested. His coat is coming in great, and he is going to have a very thick coat.

Born April 11th, 2007

Tartan's Lil Charmr + Storybook's Chatelaine

Just one whopping baby boar born in this litter. He lacks patching, but everything else on this little boy is outstanding. He will most likely be staying here for good.

 Born February 27th, 2007

Storybook's Romeo + Storybook's Lil Beauty

Four babies total, all healthy and whole. All are REO/Whites, two sows and two boars. The nicest sow (the one in the last photo) I am planning on keeping. The other sow is already reserved, but the two boars (first two single pics) will be available at weaning. They all have great type, and though the solid-faced boar has a longer nose, his ears are AMAZING. No DQ's or Faults, all are showable and both the boars are rather nice. I will be showing 'my' sow and the two boars at the State Convention, so both the boars will have a nice head start to their showing careers.

Out of a Grand Champion dam.

Born December 28th around 11:30 am

Tartan's Lil Charmr + Storybook's Pixie

These two sows have great color and type, one is REO/Beige/White and one is REO/White. Unfortunately they both have angel wings (though the REO/White's is barely noticeable). Both will be for sale at weaning.

~ Both have found new pet homes ~

Born June 22nd at 4:03 pm

Sunflower's Prince Charmont + Rick's Miss Muffet

There were two born in this litter, but only one survived. She is a Coronet TSW Sow, nicely patched. She also has a nice coronet as well.

Sold to Kevin C.

Born June 21st at 4:00 pm

Storybook's Chatelaine + Storybook's Romeo

This poor little girl was born with her feet turned in. They will be like that permanently. She was the only baby in the litter. She has been named Daisy.

~ Adopted by Jane :) ~

Born April 14th at 5:05 am

Storybook's Lil Beauty + Tartan's Lil Charmr

I was waiting for this litter, I was pretty sure I would get all REO/Whites, and that's exactly what I got. Four babies - two sows, two boars. Two are a bit dutchy but the others are nice, especially the little boar.

All have found new homes.

Born April 10th at 12:00 am

Rick's Miss Muffet + Sunflower's Prince Charmont

My first ever litter of longhaired babies - or any other breed than American! There are three Coronets and a Silkie. The Silkie is almost solid black, but has a few snippets of white here and there. The two black/white Coronets are nice, especially the one in the left-hand bottom corner of the photo. There is also one TSW, very tiny compared to the other babies, if it continues to thrive it will be the nicest baby markings-wise. They are all sows. At this point I would like to keep the nicer black/white.

All (except the nicest, who is Cleopatra) have been sold.

Born March 3rd at 11:00 am

Carat's Clairabelle + Tartan's Lil Charmr

The baby sow was so large that I had to assist in her removal from Clairabelle. The boy isn't as bulky, but look at those EARS! They are both very nice babies and now have new homes.

Born January 2nd, at 7:00 pm

Mannmade's Chubbs + Carat's Winston

Four pups, one boar and three sows. The momma pig died four days after giving birth from anemia and Ketosis. These babies have been hand-raised and are very affectionate. The boar (Chocolate/Red/White), Storybook's Eeyore, would make an excellent brood boar (he has a small angel wing on his back), as he is huge and bulky with excellent type. The sows are rainbows, the runt - Storybook's Pixie - and Storybook's Purty Girl are here to stay. The other is nice as well with great type and went to Judy M.

Storybook's Purty Girl was awarded BIS on April 8, 2006 at the Youth Expo Cavy show

Born December 21st, afternoon

Storybook's Chatelaine + Carat's Winston

Two gorgeous REO/Beige/White pups, a boar and a sow. The boar has the best patched belly I've ever seen, has great type, ears, and awesome orange color, not to mention his lovely patching. The sow is nice too, great patching and surprisingly great ears for her extremely blunt head, but she has quite a few areas of intermingling. Their names are Storybook's Romeo and Storybook's Juliet.

Born November 5th at 8:43 am

Storybook's Chubby Lil Chiquita + Storybook's Bruiser

Three babies, two boars and one sow. The boars are both REO/Lilac/White, and the sow (pictured by herself above) is REO/Beige/White. I am keeping the sow, she is GORGEOUS. Her name is Storybook's Chicklet.

Born November 1st, at 7:40 pm

Carat's Clairabelle + Carat's Winston

Two babies, an American Satin and an American. Both are sows, the satin is REO/Beige/White, the other is REO/Lilac/White.

American sold to Valerie J., American Satin sold to Kimberlee N.

Born July 27th, 2005, at 8:03 am

Mannmade's Chubbs + Storybook's Bruiser

A single baby, like her last litter. Almost a TSW, but with chocolate instead of black. He is still a very nice boar, and has the cutest face. I named him Napoleon.

Sold to Kimberlee N.

Born June 20th, 2005 at 7 pm

Carat's Clairabelle + Tartan's Lil Charmr

All REO/Whites, and all are sows - these babies are beautiful!! They have nice heads, big eyes, and two have very good broken markings. Two of the babies are Dutch-marked, but they have white bull's eye bottoms

                Born February 24, 2005

Mannmade's Chubbs + Tartan's Lil' Charmr

1 Red/White sow

Third litter. The single baby was ENORMOUS, so we named her Big Bertha. She did quite well at shows because of her type and color, valuable assets for my breeding program.

         Born 2/5/05

Carat's Clairabelle + Tartan's Topper

1 REO/Beige/White sow, 2 REO/Beige/White boars

Second litter. Everything went well, one boar and sow were kept, the other one went to Arizona.

           Born 4/04

Storybook's Clairabelle+ Cavy Carat's

2 REO/white sows

This sow bred with her dad before I got her, and was a little over 3 months old when she had her babies. I'm just glad that everything went well!!

      Born 4/2/04

   Storybook's Chubbs+ Storybook's Lil' Charmr

2 TSW (1 boar, one sow) 1 REO/Beige/White

The TSW boar has really nice patches, but quite a bit of intermingling on his face. The TSW sow looks almost like a black Dutch with a brown eyebrow. The runt is the REO/Beige/White, and her patching is GREAT! She has no intermingling and her color is very nice.
